During Circle Time, the whole classroom gathers to share ideas, listen, and learn new concepts and skills. Circle time features similar practices seen in school-age classrooms such as using the calendar, making weather observations, letter comprehension, and charting and graphing. The children get the opportunity to answer questions promoting oral communication as well as have fun with story time and singing songs.

We collaborate with the community to bring the concept of "helpers" to real-world connections. We believe this is crucial for building trust, teaching safety skills, and reducing fear during emergencies. Not only do these visits help reduce fear but they promote the concept of responsibility! The hands-on experiences of meeting professionals makes learning about community helpers more fun, impactful and engaging.
